Care & Maintenance

Taking care of your septic system should be as easy as possible for homeowners. First there are the basic rules of not letting any foreign materials be flushed into your system. Things like dental floss, tampons, paper towels, coffee grinds, cigarette butts or condoms; this list isn’t comprehensive but it should give you the hint that nothing but your personal waste and the toilet paper should be flushed. Also no poisonous chemicals should ever be flushed down either, toilet cleaners are fine but don’t think your septic system is a trash can! If you take good care of your system and what goes into it, the only thing you should ever have to worry about is getting it pumped regularly. Felix has an automated reminder service so that you’ll never have to worry about forgetting this again. Give us a call today to sign up for this notification service.
